Land Acquisition Specialist will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing land acquisition plans for new wind development sites in the enXco Midwest Region.

Working Conditions
This position is contemplated to be 75% out of office travel and 25% in office work.
Responsibilities
Initiate Landowner Contact: Work with Origination Team, GIS department and Land Manager to investigate new project sites and initiate contact with landowners and community officials via phone calls and mailings.
Landowner Contract Negotiations: Meet with individual landowners to negotiate contract for participation in proposed wind energy projects. Travel required.
Reporting: Submit weekly status report(s) to Land Manager to maintain up-to-date summary of project activities
Establish Local Office: Work with Land Manager to identify and establish local field office and field staff in project areas where needed.
Contract Land Agents: Assist Land Manager in working with contract land agents to implement acquisition campaign in prospective project site.
Landowner Communication Management: Assist Landowner Liaison, Administrative staff, and Land and Title Manager with maintaining existing landowner communications via project update phone calls and letters, quarterly newsletters and project update meetings.
Meeting Logistics Assistance: Assist Landowner Liaison with organizing, planning, and attending community/town hall meetings in prospective and existing host communities. Travel required.
Curative Work: Work with Land and Title Manager, Land and Title Specialist and legal council to obtain title curative documents
Miscellaneous: Assist with special projects and general office duties as needed.
Qualifications
Availability to travel 75% of work time (anticipated).
Proven sales, account acquisition and account management experience a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Samples may be requested.
Public Speaking experience.
Knowledgeable in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Publisher.
Minnesota notary license not required, but preferred.
