Job Description


Training Specialist


enXco has an immediate opening for two Full-time Training Specialists in the Midwest area.


Scope of Position
The training specialist under the general guidance of the Training Manager provides instruction on basic wind turbine maintenance and functioning to newly hired personnel. Advance instruction on trouble shooting or theory of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems as required.

Working Conditions
Training Specialists spend their time in an instructional setting either in a classroom or at a job location. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.


Responsibilities
  • Assist and train field crews in theory, operation and maintenance of wind turbine generators.
  • Create, modify, present and critique instructional material.
  • Travel to enXco sites and conduct classroom and on the job training.
  • Ensure training does not conflict with company, local, state and federal regulations if any.
  • Occasionally work with QC to assess training and operational effectiveness by inspecting work performance (Quality Control Inspections)
Qualifications
  • Ability to work at heights, including ascending wind turbine towers to heights of 60 plus meters.
  • Must have either 4 years teaching or wind industry experience or a combination thereof.
  • Must be knowledgeable of industrial mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Needs competence using Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Visio.
  • Ability to read and draw electrical or hydraulic schematics.
  • Familiar with System Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software and hardware.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal communications.
  • Display an understanding of company, state and federal safety regulations and an ability to provide training to other team members on these issues of safety.
