President & Chief Executive Officer

Tristan Grimbert leads enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company, in the development, generation, operations and maintenance of large-scale renewable energy projects across North America. His tenure began in 2004 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in July 2008 and later that year was named CEO of both EDF EN Canada and EDF EN Mexico as he led the expansion into both countries from the San Diego corporate headquarters.
Under Mr. Grimbert's leadership, EDF EN North American operations have enjoyed significant growth, emerging as one of the most respected and successful renewable energy businesses in North America. Tristan has overseen a five-fold increase in revenue since 2004 and a doubling of employees in the past two years. He has led the expansion of new offices and offerings throughout the United States. In 2007, the company launched development of solar PV in Ontario, including the establishment of the EDF EN Canada affiliate. Today, EDF EN Canada boasts over 1 GW of wind and solar in development or operation.
In addition, since 2010, Mr. Grimbert has successfully led the expansion into Mexico through the EDF EN Mexico affiliate which now has nearly 400 MW of wind capacity in development or operation.
enXco is a pioneer in tax benefit structuring in the wind industry. The company successfully developed and financed the first ever project through wind tax in the US in 2003. In November 2008, in the midst of the financial crisis, enXco secured financing for its 150 MW Shiloh II project during some of the most challenging and turbulent times in the financial sector.
Today, enXco, EDF EN Canada and EDF EN Mexico are established leaders in renewable energy and proudly represents the industry as North America's leading independent service provider of Operations & Maintenance Services with more than 5 GW under contract.
Mr. Grimbert's career began in sales and international consultancy. He is a graduate of Institut National Agronomique Paris Grignon and holds a management degree from Insead. He spent seven years prior to enXco as President and CEO of Mensi SA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EDF, and later with Trimble Navigation Limited, specializing in the development, manufacturing and sales of 3D scanners and 3D point clouds CAD processing software.
Chief Financial Officer

Jean Roche has been Chief Financial Officer of enXco, Inc. since October 2008. Mr. Roche has 11 years of substantial experience overseeing and making strategic cross-functional and operational decisions related to sales, production, supply chain, and legal affairs.
Mr. Roche holds a professional Doctorate level degree (Chartered Accountant) and a Master in Business Management, Finance and Accounting from the Ministry of Education in France, as well as a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Paris.
Executive Vice President, Operations and Maintenance

Larry Barr serves as Executive Vice President, Operations and Maintenance and leads their Service Division (enXco Service Corporation), which provides O&M services for approximately 4,800-wind turbines and various solar installations across North America.
Larry brings more than 27 years of wind power plant O&M experience to the project team, which is essential in turbine selection considerations and overall facility operations and maintenance planning, from both the technical and financial perspectives.
Larry has a degree in Business Administration as well as California State Contractor's License certifications for both General Engineering and General Construction.
Executive Vice President, Development Origination

Joe Fahrendorf is Executive Vice President of Development Origination, establishing that function for enXco in 2000. He brings to enXco a career devoted to energy utilization and power production, more than thirty years of it in the Independent Power Production (IPP) sector. He has developed, financed and constructed in excess of 3,000 MWs of IPP projects in the USA and Central America, using renewable and conventional fuel technology.
Prior to joining enXco, Mr. Fahrendorf served as founder and CEO of LFC Power Systems, a first mover IPP PURPA Company in the 80's followed in the 90's as CEO of OESI, a public geothermal energy developer, operator and owner.
His early career experiences includes project engineering, project and construction management and business development in the electric utility, industrial and marine business segments worldwide.
Mr. Fahrendorf has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the US Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA from Xavier University.
Executive Vice President, Structured Finance and Generation

Deborah Gronvold joined enXco in April 2010, as Executive Vice President, Structured Finance and Generation with direct oversight to project financing and asset management for enXco and its affiliates in North America, which includes the US, Mexico and Canada.
Deborah brings to enXco more than 25 years of substantial experience in the energy sector, including 8 years in investment banking. Her most recent experience was in the role of Vice President and Treasurer with Iberdrola Renewables in Portland, Oregon where she was responsible for treasury functions and corporate finance activities, including relationship management for ratings agencies, banking and investment banking organizations. She played a key leadership role in Wind Portfolio Transaction financings. In addition, she has also worked at Sithe Energies, Edison Mission Energy, and Mobil Exploration Norway and has financed infrastructure projects totalling over $4 billion.
Deborah received her Bachelor's of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from New York University, Stern School of Business
Executive Vice President, Transactions

Paul Kaufman has over twenty-four years of experience in the energy sector. He joined enXco in July, 2008 as its Vice President and General Counsel.
Paul completed his undergraduate work at Cornell University and his law degree at the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Robert F. Miller serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of enXco. Mr. Miller brings over 24 years of legal experience with a special emphasis in construction and project finance for energy projects. His legal experience includes work on global projects ranging from 200 MW to 1200 MW.
Prior to joining enXco, Mr. Miller served as Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of NextLight Renewable Power, LLC. During his tenure the company secured 570 MW under PPAs and over 3,487 MW in early development. He guided the company's legal efforts to establish site control of numerous project sites throughout the Southwest including, the first long-term lease for a solar project with the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe and the first large-scale solar energy project on U.S. public lands in Nevada.
Mr. Miller also served as Vice President & General Counsel to Altra Biofuels, Inc., and earlier served as Associate General Counsel to the Engineering & Construction Group and Global Procurement for the Union Oil Company of California (Unocal), prior to its acquisition by Chevron.
Mr. Miller, a member of the California, Virginia, and the District of Columbia Bars, earned a B.A. from Claremont Men's College, a M.S. from the University of Southern California, and holds a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he was a recipient of the National Contract Management Scholarship.
Vice President, Human Resources

Lisa Carp serves as enXco's Vice President of Human Resources and has overall responsibility for enXco's employment practices, employee benefits, workers compensation & safety, training, policies and procedures, and compensation.
Mrs. Carp has been in the wind energy industry since 1998. Mrs. Carp is on the Board of Directors for the Independent Power Human Resources Association.
Mrs. Carp has a Bachelors Degree from Cal Poly - Pomona and an MBA from University of Phoenix. Additionally, she is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Society of Human Resource Management.
Vice President, Wind Business Unit

Jeff Ghilardi serves as enXco's Vice President of the Wind Business Unit where he is accountable for program management, turbine procurement, acquisitions of wind projects, and the integration of the Wind Business Unit with regional development personnel, wind resource assessment, engineering and construction, and power marketing.
Active in the wind energy industry for 22 years, he brings both domestic and international experience in nearly all aspects of wind energy development, finance, construction, engineering and operations. In addition to his extensive experience in the wind industry, he has experience with a wide range of generation technologies including solar, combustion gas turbines, steam turbines, hydroelectric, IGCC and nuclear technologies.
Mr. Ghilardi holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
VICE PRESIDENT, GENERATION

Richard Jigarjian joined enXco in 2010 as Vice President, Generation where he is responsible for managing enXco's wind and solar assets in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
In his role, Rich manages enXco's approximately 1145 MW in Wind and Solar projects as well as enXco's relationships with its debt and equity partners.
Prior to his role at enXco, Rich previously worked for Iberdrola Renewables and PPM Energy where he managed their tax equity assets and was the Managing Director of Thermal Assets. Over the years Rich was a Vice President of Finance at Azurix Corporation, Managing Director at Koch Industries, Director at Ahlstrom Pyropower, and Vice President of Project Finance at Security Pacific Bank where his renewable energy roots took hold in the 1980's.
Rich holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and currently divides his time between the San Diego Innovation Office and the Northwest Regional office in Portland, Oregon.
Vice President, Power Marketing

John Marchand is Vice President of Power Marketing and has responsibility for negotiating PPAs, ASAs and other off take structures.
He has been involved in a number of innovative WECC energy structures including the first Grant Country Hydro purchase, the first Long term 3 way wind, firming and banking structure and the first CAISO Financial load hedge.
John is a graduate of Trinity College Hartford CT and the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Vice President, Construction

Patrick McAllister serves as enXco's Vice President of Construction. Mr. McAllister brings enXco twenty years of experience in the Independent Power Producer (IPP) industry.
Mr. McAllister has a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering from the US Merchant Marine Academy.
Vice President, Operations & Maintenance - North America

Tad Miller is the Vice President of Operations & Maintenance - North America, and is responsible for all O&M activities throughout North America. Tad’s current responsibilities include the implementation and supervision of internal controls, oversight of the management, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of wind turbines and wind turbine components at enXco-owned wind project sites as well as third-party sites. In addition he oversees the management of the Operations Control Center.
Tad has been with enXco for 23 years. During this time he has held several positions within the company most recently as Director, Operations & Maintenance, U.S.
Tad has been instrumental in the growth and development of the Operations & Maintenance business and has been recognized as a leader in O&M throughout his career. In 2006 he was presented with the Outstanding Achievement in Operations Award from the American Wind Energy Association.
Vice President, Project Finance

Mr. Peters manages all aspects of enXco's project financing initiatives, bringing a breadth of analytical and structuring experience. Jim expands and manages enXco's relationships within the capital markets, and is closely involved in the financial aspects of enXco projects all along the development stages.
Jim earned his Electrical Engineering Undergraduate and MBA degrees from Cornell University and resides in Vermont with his wife and children.
Vice President, Solar Business Unit

Ms. Peterson serves as enXco's Vice President, Solar Business Unit. In this position she provides strategic leadership and direction to enXco's growing solar PV business.
Ms. Peterson joins enXco from Suntech Power Holdings of China, a leading global solar panel manufacturer, where as Vice President, Business Development and Project Finance, she was instrumental in establishing Suntech's operations in the U.S., growing Suntech's U.S. market share substantially within three years. During her tenure, she was responsible for M&A activities, project development, corporate finance, and credit portfolio management. She also served as President of Suntech's joint venture development company with MMA Renewable Ventures and acted as key U.S. contact for Suntech's Chinese bank relationships.
She managed Suntech's negotiations with various electric utilities, project developers, commercial lenders, and the World Bank group in structuring project and customer financing in the U.S., China, and other parts of Asia, Europe and Africa. Ms. Peterson also represented the firm with the Clinton Global Initiative and the Climate Group on the subject of U.S. - China clean energy cooperation.
Prior to joining Suntech, Ms. Peterson spent ten years as Vice President with Citibank and ABN AMRO Bank in their Structured Finance groups in the U.S. and Middle East. In her position she arranged long-term cross-border projects and structured finance in the power generation, telecom and environmental sectors. She worked extensively with a wide range of international financial institutions and programs, including the U.S. Department of Energy, World Bank (IBRD), IFC, Asian Development Bank, Export-Import Bank of the U.S., and Inter-American Development Bank.
Ms. Peterson previously owned and operated Mayflower Partners, a financial consulting firm where she advised private sector and government clients on international environmental, energy and financial services projects.
Ms. Peterson has over 20 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure finance industries, with the last four in the PV solar sector. As a senior executive in solar panel manufacturing and banking, she has been involved in transactions worth over $4 billion globally, primarily in independent private power generation and environmental technologies.
Ms. Peterson holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University and an MBA from the University of Chicago - Booth Graduate School of Business. She also completed graduate coursework at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
Vice President, Origination - Southwest

Mark Tholke serves as enXco's Vice President of Origination - Southwest Region.
In his role, Mark is responsible for identifying, evaluating, structuring and developing renewable energy projects throughout the Southwest Region - California, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. He will direct site assessment, land acquisition, interconnection strategy, permitting, public outreach, customer relationships, regional policy analysis, initial financial feasibility analyses and engineering/design and project legal review. Mark has oversight over the origination of multiple projects either through internal origination or acquisition. In addition, Mark will direct the support of finance activities as they relate to late stage projects and financial closing.
Mark joined enXco in November, 2006, as the Regional Project Development Manager; and was promoted to Director of the Southwest Region in August, 2008.
Prior to joining enXco, Mark held positions with Eurus Energy, GE Wind Energy and Green Mountain Energy. Prior to his work in renewable energy, Mark worked at a research affiliate of the Heinz Foundation and the Nature Conservancy in Washington, DC.
Mark holds a joint MBA/MS in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan and two Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science & Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Vice Chairman of the Board

Dr. Walker is Vice Chairman of the Board of enXco. He served as CEO from October 2002 until March 2005 and was subsequently responsible for management of the company's portfolio of over $1 billion of operating wind projects. enXco is a leading developer, owner and operator of wind projects and is wholly owned by EDF Energies Nouvelles.
Dr. Walker has over 30 years experience in energy in public and private entities, including MCR Geothermal and Edison Mission Energy. He pioneered wind project development in Greece, Turkey and Mexico. After serving in the Office of Management and Budget in the Nixon and Ford Administrations, he spent 8 years at the California Energy Commission in the Jerry Brown administrations, serving as Executive Director, Commissioner and Vice Chairman.
Dr. Walker has been on the Board of the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) since May, 2005 and is Past President of AWEA. He was named "Industry Person of the Year" at AWEA's national convention in June 2007. He has a BA in Physics from Princeton University and a Doctorate from Harvard Business School.
