New Business Manager

Scope of Position

This position is primarily responsible for identifying, evaluating, structuring, and developing O&M projects for the Company.

Working Conditions

• Remote office environment.
• Approximately 30% travel. Travel includes visits to other enXco locations, enXco development projects, meetings with enXco clients and potential clients, organizational partners, and industry conferences and trade shows. .

Responsibilities

• Overall O&M business development responsibility for Texas and surrounding states.
• Responsible for identifying, contacting, and establishing relationships with wind and solar project developers and owners in the Region.
• Responsible for drafting contracts for services provided by enXco Service Corp, negotiating such contracts, in concert with Operations Managers and enXco Legal Department.
• Responsible for coordinating responses to RFPs for Operation and Maintenance services, and submitting proposals.
• Responsible obtaining approval for contracts.
• Responsible for establishing short term and long-range O&M business strategies for Region.
• Maintain written and oral communications with O&M representatives, project developers (within as well as outside of enXco), turbine manufacturers, and others directly related to potential O&M opportunities.
• Provide timely and complete reporting on activities to Director of Business Development.
• All other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or other related field.
• Previous experience within the renewable energy field a plus; knowledge of the Texas renewable energy market strongly preferred.
• Able to demonstrate experience finding business and converting it to projects/contracts for his/her employer.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing; including overseeing the written submissions for RFP's and RFQ's.
