Director, Consolidation

Scope of Position

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director, Consolidation is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of consolidated financial results of enXco under IFRS. He/she oversees the consolidation function. He/she will work closely with, enXco's financial controlling, planning and analysis department as well as accounting. The position will work closely with the consolidation team including the IFRS standards desk in Paris, France.

Working Conditions

In the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and either Hyperion Consolidation (HFM) and/or Business Objects Financial Consolidation and/or Magnitude), telephones, and general office equipment.  Up to 25% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for delivering Business Objects Financial Consolidation (BOFC) software packages (monthly P&L, quarterly P&L, balance sheet, cash flows, and appendices) according to the parent company's instructions for the US and North America (Canada and Mexico).

 

Typical duties includes but are not limited to:

• Eliminating inter-companies transactions
• Recording consolidation adjustments, understanding both US GAAP and IFRS
• Validating the mapping between SAP and BOFC accounts
• Reviewing and validating work papers
• Providing documentation required by auditors during audits
• Administrating BOFC consolidation software from the Consolidation/Accounting point of view, working directly with the consolidation team in France.
• Providing and validating analytical reviews of consolidation financial statements and appendices prior to submittal to the parent company
• Liaison with the consolidation team in Paris, France
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of consolidation experience is required with either Hyperion Consolidation (HFM) and/or Business Objects Financial Consolidation and/or Magnitude
• Team player with management skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent experience required. Master degree preferred
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of IFRS
• Good working knowledge of US GAAP
• CPA designation preferred.
